1964 Beatles Hallmark Stamps
This book of 100 stamps was introduced to the American public in 1964. The book features five pages of 20 stamps each — one for each member of the band consisting of icons Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The fifth page features a group shot of the band together. The 4×7 ¼-inch book features a yellow cover that reads “YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! ORIGINAL BEATLE STAMPS” across the top alongside a 59-cent price marking. An image of each stamp is centered on the cover above a message reading “100 BEATLE STAMPS FOR ALL YOUR Stationery, Greeting Cards, Book Covers, Letters, Album Cover, etc.” Licensing information appears at the bottom of the cover, along with identification of the stamps’ artist Robert S. Thorne and a message indicating the books were “Printed in U.S.A.”.
